Objectives

Change Management Specialist to facilitate and manage the BSF change programmes and influence the transformation of culture and process within both the Local Authority and schools environments. Proven experience of delivering change within an educational environment is key, with particularly strong emphasis on training and stakeholder engagement.

Key Tasks

  • The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the above services and be responsible for all aspects of the Educational Transformation Services, definition, development, coordination and implementation. Drive transformational change in schools by influencing key stakeholders and ensuring the implementation of ICT solutions that support learning, teaching, leadership, management, administration and community by:
  • Working with the Local Authority and each school to create and agree a transformation strategy as defined in the Liaison Procedures
  • Defining / producing transformation plans for each school to deliver this strategy and an overarching annual transformation plan for the Authority, being mindful of schools' operational and curriculum commitments
  • Allocating resources to meet the objectives within each plan
  • Establishing a timetable for the effective delivery of the ICT Skills Training, Pedagogy Planning and Implementation, and other aspects
  • Assisting the Supply Chain Manager in working with specialist 3rd party suppliers, such as AbilityNet, CE and Authority training resources
  • Liaising with the Innovation Manager and Programme Manager
  • Gathering data to support the relevant KPIs in the Payment Mechanism
  • Managing the Education Transformation Consultants
  • Analysing and acting upon Evaluations and Customer Satisfaction Survey feedback
  • Providing educational ICT consultancy to a range of partners
  • Attending relevant external internal meetings as required
  • Reporting issues / risks to the Programme Manager
  • Developing the communications plan
  • Uphold Ramesys Information Security Policy and other Quality processes and report suspected incidents and observed weaknesses

Skills and qualifications

Essential

  • Education experience at senior or middle management level within school or LEA setting following a successful teaching, training or consultancy career
  • Awareness of the potential for ICT within Education.
  • Proven track record of implementing ICT to create real change in the way teaching and learning are delivered
  • Knowledge and awareness of key educational agendas and initiatives
  • Excellent presentation skills verbal and written; diplomatic but firm
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
  • High level of credibility, interpersonal and customer facing skills
  • Good personal ICT skills

Desirable

  • Project Management experience
  • Consulting experience
  • Knowledge of training and CPD programmes
  • BSF or similar large-scale ICT programmes to education sector
  • The successful candidate is likely have a good track record of updating their skills through professional training/lifelong learning

Hours

37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm with up to one hour for lunch
